Cath Lab RN

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our team on a temporary contract with a potential to convert to full-time.
The successful candidate will evaluate patients, assist physicians during procedures, and administer medications within the scope of nursing practice.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• Illinois RN License required
• ACLS certification required
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and plan nursing care for assigned patients, documenting all activities accordingly
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Perform patient tests and administer medications as appropriate
• Promote patient independence through education on condition management, medications, and self-care
• Maintain familiarity with standard practices and procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Utilize experience, judgment, and creativity to accomplish patient care goals and tasks
