Global Operations and Monitoring Manager

Our client in Dallas, Tx is seeking a manager to oversee Application, Infrastructure and Cyber Security operations. This will involve managing team members and being hands-on with monitoring, escalation, ticketing, analysis and forensics. This is a unique role that will involve interactions with clients, internal stakeholders, as well as internal technical teams. This is a highly important role, as this person will be managing a team that serves as the first line of defense for this company.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage 365 day shift schedule (leave approval, monitoring appropriate service levels for clients based on formal agreements and targets)
  • Work closely with other teams to design and implement cloud-based network and security solutions
  • Provide client support and help to resolve client issues
  • Establish and monitor KPI's and Objectives¬†and Key Results (OKR) to help identify team needs/training needs

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience in the IT field (preferably in an operations environment
  • 2-3 years in a leadership role doing technical-service-client delivery
  • 2+ years of experience in information security, SOC, or incident response
  • Hands-on experience with open source/commercial tools such as Appscan, Kali Linux, Metasploit, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of common website vulnerbilities
  • Strong with technical writing experience
  • Experience with automation platforms
  • Experience logging and monitoring systems (SCOM)
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure design
  • Bachelor's degree
