Summary: Join our team as a Medical Revenue Recovery Specialist and play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate payment for our hospital clients. You'll work with patients, payers, and other professionals to resolve outstanding bills and maximize revenue. As an ambassador for our patients, you'll provide exceptional customer service and ensure that our clients receive the best possible outcome.

Requirements:

• 1+ year experience in healthcare revenue recovery or related field (e.g. medical coding, claim adjudication, patient accounting)
• Strong knowledge of debt collection rules and regulations, HIPAA, and medical coding systems (CPT, ICD)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, payers, and other professionals
• Moderate computer proficiency, including working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

Responsibilities:

• Follow up on patient bills and claims to recover revenue from responsible business entities
• Analyze claims and determine next steps to ensure timely and accurate payment
• Act as intermediary between patients/consumers and third-party payers to resolve outstanding bills
• Ensure timely filing and reimbursement, and maintain accurate records
• Escalate complex or challenging accounts to management as needed
