Summary
Seeking a dedicated Clinical Supervisor to oversee and mentor Medical Assistants and Clinical Support Assistants across multiple primary care clinics. This full-time leadership role involves supervising clinical staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, streamlining workflows, and supporting high-quality patient care in a multi-site environment. The position offers an opportunity to influence staff development, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes within a collaborative healthcare setting.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Associate’s degree in healthcare or related field; bachelor's preferred
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in primary care or outpatient setting
- At least 2 years of supervisory or lead experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Athenahealth preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to foster a patient-centered, team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor Medical Assistants and Clinical Support Assistants across multiple clinics
- Conduct performance reviews, feedback sessions, and staff development meetings
- Oversee clinic scheduling, onboarding, and training programs for clinical staff
- Manage daily clinical workflows, ensure proper maintenance of exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory standards
- Support providers clinically and assist with patient call management
- Conduct routine audits of documentation, labs, and patient charts for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with leadership to optimize workflows, staffing, and quality initiatives
- Serve as a communication link between clinical teams and management to promote a cohesive work environment
