Lead DevOps Engineer
Lead DevOps Engineer
Pay: $180,000 - $190,000 annually
Location: Downtown Austin, 78701 — Hybrid (in-office 3 days/week)

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 8+ years of DevOps experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong background in designing solutions across cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, Rackspace)
- Expertise with CI/CD tools (TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLabs) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation)
- Management of SaaS applications, monitoring, and incident management experience
- Proficiency with observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, or ELK stack
- Solid understanding of networking, Linux environments, and application debugging
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills in Agile teams
Responsibilities
- Lead the DevOps team to develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure automation, security, and scalability
- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment cycles
- Drive operational excellence through monitoring, incident management, and continuous feedback
- Collaborate with architecture and product teams on technology decisions
- Maintain high system security and compliance standards
- Build and nurture a high-performing engineering team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement
- Provide on-call support for internal and customer issues
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
