Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join a busy healthcare team in their Houston Medical Center clinic.
The ideal candidate is sharp, independent, and possesses excellent critical thinking skills.
Must be knowledgeable and able to prioritize tasks effectively, demonstrating quick decision-making abilities.
This role involves predominantly back-office duties with some front desk responsibilities, including vital signs, triage, patient education, and medication updates.
Requirements
- Current Certified Medical Assistant credential
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
- EMR experience (preferably Athena)
- Stable employment history (at least 1-year tenure in previous role)
- Bilingual capabilities (a plus)
- Renal care experience (a plus)
