Pay: $20-$23/hour - depends on experience
Location: Dallas, TX 75243
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Technician to join a busy medical facility in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in casting procedures and patient care, supporting clinicians in delivering exceptional orthopedic services. This role offers an opportunity to leverage your technical skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring patients receive optimal treatment and support.
Requirements:
- Prior casting experience (applying and removing casts)
- Casting certification preferred
- Strong understanding of orthopedic procedures
- Excellent patient communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Apply and remove casts with precision and care
- Assist with application and removal of braces, splints, artificial limbs, and bandages
- Educate patients on their orthopedic devices and recovery process
- Support ordering and managing Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as needed
