Summary
Join a dynamic team as a Messaging Engineer supporting one of the largest and most reputable law firms in the country. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex email and messaging systems, including Microsoft Exchange Online, Active Directory, and M365 environments, with a focus on security, performance, and innovation. You'll collaborate with high-level stakeholders, including C-suite executives and VPs, solving challenging tickets and enhancing the firm's communication infrastructure. Requirements
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Exchange Online and hybrid configurations
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and email routing
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation
- Knowledge of MDM solutions, Azure cloud, and email security protocols
- Familiarity with Exchange Online Archiving, Proofpoint, and compliance features
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and technical documentation abilities
Responsibilities
- Architect, monitor, and optimize Microsoft Exchange Online environments
- Maintain a secure, reliable, and efficient messaging ecosystem
- Deploy and troubleshoot Exchange hybrid setups; manage on-prem and cloud migrations
- Address message delivery and security issues, ensuring data protection
- Develop PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve workflows
- Transition public folders, shared mailboxes, and distribution groups to M365 solutions
- Provide expert-level support to internal users and collaborate with application teams on email and device issues
- Perform regular system updates and patch management
- Design disaster recovery and business continuity plans for messaging systems
- Lead e-discovery operations when required, ensuring compliance
