DevOps Engineer

Pay: $160,000 - $170,000 annually

Location: Downtown Austin, 78701 — Hybrid (in-office 3 days/week)

Summary

This role offers the opportunity to work on managing CI/CD pipelines, automation, and providing on-call support within a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for automation, security, and continuous improvement, contributing to a high-availability SaaS platform that empowers organizations worldwide to streamline vendor management processes and mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 6+ years of DevOps experience
  • Hands-on experience designing solutions in cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, Rackspace)
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
  • Experience managing SaaS applications with Java, Spring Boot, Oracle
  • Deep understanding of observability tools like Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, ELK/EFK
  • Knowledge of networking, Linux environments, and incident management
  • Proven leadership skills in mentoring engineering teams
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred skills include strong analytical and communication abilities, initiative, curiosity about new technologies, and flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Champion DevOps best practices, fostering a culture of automation and continuous feedback
