Position Title: Senior .NET Developer

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

We are seeking an energetic problem solver with technical proficiency in the area of C#, .NET Core, and Object Oriented Analysis and design principles. This applicant must be highly motivated to meet technology challenges and Product deadlines. The Technical Developer will work directly with clients and other industry experts to understand the reporting and data requirements and logical data model, and perform requirements, design, technical design, build, unit test, system test and support user acceptance test.

Technical Developer Responsibilities:

  • Design and Construct components using .NET Core Framework and SQL Server.
  • Identify and resolve programming problems by following routine methods and established system development methodologies.
  • Analyze service issues, determine causes, and resolve them.
  • Analyze and design technical solutions for complex business requirements.
  • Gather requirements, prepare functional specifications, form project plans and communicate progress throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Create technical and functional design documents. Create, validate and enhance prototypes for projects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4-year College Degree, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field required:
  • 5+ years of application development using C# and .NET
  • 5+ years of application UI development with one or more of the following: HTML / JavaScript / Win Forms
  • Experience with Three-tier architecture, objected oriented analysis and design, and UML
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Strong debugging and problem solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of or experience in dealing with Point of Sale (POS) or Accounting Applications
  • Experience with Reporting Services, and tools like Telerik
  • .NET Core
  • Ability to design a normalized SQL Server database
