Client: Our client is a privately owned, full-service national mortgage lender. They were recognized as a Top 3 National Mortgage Leader and are headquartered in Irving, Tx. They help to expand customer's lending options and create loan solutions.

Position: The IT Security Architect will be assisting with all of the client’s information security and information technology security projects and initiatives as well as ensuring the networks, systems, processes and user activities are compliant with policy at all times.


• Create information security intelligence, security analytics, information security architecture

• Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, conducting system security analysis and risk assessments, studying architecture/platforms, identifying integration issues, and preparing cost estimates.

• Recommends security standards by evaluating industry trends and risks and leveraging knowledge of SME’s for network, server, and application resources. • Participate with infrastructure and application project teams providing consultation on information security.

• Works on improvements for added security services including the development of new tools and supporting assets.

Experience we would like to see:

• Minimum of 10 years of information security experience with at least 3 years in an architectural role.

• Knowledgeable of industry standards including FFIEC.

• Information security certifications, prefer CCISP

• Detailed technical knowledge of operating system and data base security (preference with IOS, Windows and MS SQLServer)

• Wide knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus/malware, IAM, log management systems and content filter platforms.

• Excellent understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols,

• Solid understanding of enterprise level information security processes, policies, and analysis.

• Experience with the design and implementation of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
