Senior .Net Developer

Pay: $85,000-$120,000 based on experience

Location: Atlanta (Alpharetta)

Our client is a thriving healthcare company in Alpharetta, GA. They have a small .Net team in place and are looking to add another Senior Developer to the team. The Senior Software Engineer provides technical leadership and strategic technical direction for a team of software developers within an Agile Scrum environment. This position sustains existing software products for growth and development of Revenue Cycle Technology.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related concentration
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in Software Development
  • Experience in developing software in an Agile environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop large modules of software independently and rapidly
  • Proven experience in Database Development/Data Warehouse projects/implementation
  • Proven leadership track record
  • Demonstrated ability to work with other teams within an organization such as Quality Assurance, Product Management and Technical support
  • Demonstrated experience delivering competitive software products
  • Experienced with Web/Windows based N-tier database applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output
  • Solid knowledge of all MS Office Products
  • Test Driven Development (TDD) and Automated Testing
  • Design Patterns

Responsibilities:

  • Works with Product Management in executing Product Roadmaps
  • Interfaces with Release Management to ensure trouble-free internal and external production deployments
  • Identifies cross-team dependencies/impacts in planning, both technical and procedural
  • Collaborates and transfers knowledge with stakeholders (QA, Planning, Service, Sales, Support)
  • Actively participates in Scrum/Agile activities like planning and sizing
  • Provides support and guidance to developers seeking to develop novel solutions to business or technical problems.
  • Works directly with support organizations as the prime technical contact
  • Leads the product development response to production issues
  • Identifies and resolve quality issues and technical debt early in the software design process
  • Troubleshoots and resolves functional and performance related issues
  • Provides application support by analyzing defects, replicating/fixing defects and providing root cause analysis for defects
  • Seeks opportunities to incorporate new technologies into the product’s technology stack when they can add value
  • Maintains a broad knowledge of emergent trends in software development platforms, tools, methodologies and their underlying principles
  • Serves as mentor for developers and coaches them on both hard and soft skills
  • Interviews technical job candidates as a priority activity; providinging feedback and delivering hiring recommendations
  • Designs and implements software required to complete user stories and defects
  • Prototyping
  • Design and development (OO Design and effective use of Design patterns)
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting
  • Code review, unit test coverage and continuous improvement
  • Ensure unit tests written for all new code
  • Provide input on MBOs for Software Development team members and provide information for the review process of team members.
  • Actively participate in code reviews making sure proper design and scalability options were considered and implemented
  • Work with the software architects to implement the technological roadmap and vision into the product
  • Insert technical user stories to the product backlog, or have them inserted by the Scrum Master/product owner
