Senior Software Engineer (version 2)

Pay: $100,000 - $120,000 (based on experience) + ANNUAL BONUS

Location: Duluth, GA (Relocation available; H1B's accepted)

Senior Software Engineers within the Platform team are responsible for platform development. The developers participate in all aspects of platform development, including: gathering requirements, design, development, documentation, deployment and maintenance. They are essential for rolling out new technologies used in the latest games. The engineer’s main responsibility will be to develop code to support games, hardware, peripherals, and communication with back-end systems. This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to self-start, self-regulate workloads, and work well in a group dynamic or independently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years relevant development experience in the gaming or lottery industry.
  • Knowledgeable in Class II and Class III gaming regulations (preferably in multiple jurisdictions).
  • Excellent knowledge of C/C++
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in implementing and troubleshooting game accounting protocols including SAS and G2S.
  • Experience in implementation of various hardware protocols (printer, bill validator, etc.).
  • Advanced object oriented design knowledge and familiarity with common patterns.
  • Requires excellent organizational skills, good oral and written communication skills, and a high level of interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a self-motivated team player able to work in a customer-oriented, fast-paced, and demanding environment with minimal supervision.

 Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Linux development.
  • Experience with Unity3D or other gaming engine.
  • Experience with Agile project management (SCRUM).
  • Familiarity with C#/.NET
