Are you looking to join a growing, dynamic, patient-focused organization that is paving new channels for providing Medical Testing? Our company is looking for a highly motivated, flexible Certified Medical Assistant that will work at an ENT and Allergy clinic in Louisville Kentucky. We are looking for an energetic, personable, articulate, organized leader to test patients in a Louisville ENT practice.
Location: Louisville, KY
Pay: $~24/hr+
Job Type: Contract to hire
Full-Time Responsibilities:
- Perform state-of-the-art vestibular testing (dizziness) on scheduled patients.
- Interact with the providers’ office in a professional, courteous manner, working closely with providers and patients.
- Work proficiently with web-based portals for clinical interpretation to ensure seamless and timely result submissions for customers.
- Always represent yourself as a professional as the face of Topple Diagnostics offering in-office customer service with the ability to address all questions/concerns promptly.
- Manager own schedule with scheduling and rescheduling appointments.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant Degree (Preferred).
- High School Diploma (Required).
- 3+ years in the medical industry working in a physician's office environment.
- 2+ years worked with diagnostic equipment in a physician's office setting (ex. X-ray, EKG, EMG, ABI’s, etc.).
- Two (2) years prior scheduling experience.
- Overall knowledge of medical terminology, including, but not limited to: Current CPT Coding ( ICD-10), Diagnosis Coding, National Coverage Determination, Limit Coverage Determinations, Federal Health Insurance, Commercial Health Insurances, etc.
- Work proficiently with web-based portals for clinical interpretation to ensure seamless and timely result submissions for customers.
- General knowledge of the functionality of Electronic Medical Records or Electronic Health Records for in-office use.
- Familiarity with various vestibular diagnostic testing equipment or having worked with patients who have peripheral or CNS vestibular dysfunction is a MAJOR plus.
- Experience working as a Medical Assistant in the following specialties: ENT and Audiology.
- Experience working in an environment where patients with dizziness/balance issues were treated as a common disorder or having worked with patients who have a history of falls.
- Proficient with technology and patient management software. •
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and planning skills. • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Must be highly motivated and self-driven.
- Punctual and self-disciplined.
