Summary
Seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced healthcare facility in Dripping Springs. The role involves rooming patients, taking vital signs, and assisting with triage, with comprehensive cross-training in medication histories and symptom assessment. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience but candidates with less experience may be considered depending on location constraints. Training will be provided initially at James Casey or another South location. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth with potential for contract-to-hire conversion.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferably a MA Diploma
- Minimum of 1+ year experience in a clinical setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask and handle clinical responsibilities efficiently
- Willingness to train in triage and medical history assessments
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients and preparing them for exams
- Taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Assisting with patient triage, including detailed medication histories and symptom evaluation
- Cross-training to support various clinical tasks as needed
- Maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for patients
