Seeking an experienced Controller to lead financial operations in a successful company within the service and construction industry. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• 7+ years of progressive financial experience, with prior leadership as a Controller or senior accountant
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Data Rails, G Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Experience with accounting system conversions or ERP implementations highly desirable
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide business decisions
• Assist with cash flow planning, liquidity management, and banking relationships
• Maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance, coordinating external audits
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, including project cost accounting
• Manage financial systems, participate in their improvement and conversion projects
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with company objectives
