Summary
Seeking a highly experienced Systems Administrator to join a stable and rapidly growing organization. The role involves managing critical Microsoft enterprise technologies, virtualization infrastructure, and supporting various cloud and network systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, innovative, and ready to drive process improvements in a collaborative environment. Local candidates in the Dallas/Ft Worth area are preferred, with some onsite work required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
- 7+ years of experience managing enterprise-level Microsoft technologies
- Minimum of 3 years supporting Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, and related systems
- Strong knowledge of DNS, Group Policy, Permissions Management
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS)
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/XenServer) and storage management (SAN, LUNs)
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience
- Familiarity with web technologies, IIS, load balancing, and SSL offloading
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Willingness for periodic travel
- Must be local to Dallas/Ft Worth for onsite presence
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Office 365 environments
- Manage virtualization infrastructure including VMware or XenServer
- Support cloud infrastructures and troubleshoot Azure or AWS environments
- Perform server setup, migration, and deployment tasks
- Migrate email systems and support Office 365 integrations during acquisitions
- Develop and execute PowerShell and GraphAPI scripts for automation
- Oversee storage solutions including SAN, LUN management, snapshots, and clones
- Work on high-level ticket resolutions and escalation cases
- Ensure disaster recovery processes and backups are maintained
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize enterprise infrastructure and implement improvements
