Medical Scribe - Sandy Springs

Prestigious Physician Group in Sandy Springs looking for a Medical Scribe for a direct hire role. 

Prestige Staffing has been tasked by one of our best clients to find a Medical Scribe to interview and go to work ASAP! Candidate must be hard working and a self-starter. Qualifications:

• Prior knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy
• High school diploma required
• Ability to type 65 WPM
• Computer proficiency
• EMR experience (EPIC preferred)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively and calmly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Maintains a positive, caring attitude towards patients
• Demonstrate positive, professional customer service in all patients, staff, and visitor contact
• Clear and effective communication skills

Duties:

• Accompany medical provider into exam rooms and transcribe a history, physical examination, and other documentation directly related to the physician-patient encounter
• Document resulted patient orders including laboratory test, radiology etc.
• List all diagnosis, follow up instructions, and prescriptions as dictated by physician
• Document any procedures performed during the visit
• Other clerical tasks to help the medical provider work more efficiently and effectively
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct
• Compliance with HIPAA

Details:

•  Hourly $22 DOE
• Mon- Fri 8 to 5 or 7:30 to 4:30
