Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to join a dynamic team on an overnight weekend schedule. The ideal candidate will excel in handling high-volume phone interactions, dispatching work requests, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to vital patient support services, monitor environmental alarms, and assist with departmental workflows, ensuring seamless operations during overnight hours.
Requirements
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, administrative support, healthcare, or call center environments
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and courtesy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Capable of working from Thursday through Monday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (includes 30-minute lunch)
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift light materials (10-20 lbs.)
Responsibilities
- Answering inbound calls from public and internal clients, including employees, patients, and visitors
- Dispatching work requests accurately and efficiently
- Monitoring environmental alarms such as doors, gates, parking lot intercoms, and CCTV systems
- Assisting with workflow management for patient transporters and other department functions
- Supporting special projects and initiatives to improve departmental processes
- Collaborating with team members and leadership to optimize service delivery and departmental performance
- Providing conflict resolution and maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor at all times
